THE CONCEPT
Inspired by the warmth of clay and the softness of organic curves, this tile blends modern rhythm with handmade imperfection. Each piece carries subtle, intentional variations—celebrating the marks of the maker.
The Process
Born from a digital sketch and brought to life through 3D printing, each tile is molded in cement using hand-poured silicone molds. Its dual-layered design, featuring a flat base and an elevated, bridge-like form, creates a sculptural flow that gracefully moves across the surface with subtle purpose.
Color Exploration
I experimented with pigments to find a warm, grounded hue. The resulting tonal shifts are purposeful, embracing perfect imperfection and natural variation.
Design Intent
This tile is more than a surface. It’s a modular story in clay—a balance of precision and irregularity. Designed to connect seamlessly, yet each unit feels distinct. A matte-satin texture enhances its earthy character, inviting touch and light to interact in unexpected ways
